For my senior project/senior capstone, I was the first student from the Media Arts department at Pacific University to create 3D models as their project. The goal of my project was to create a baseline for an augmented reality training simulation for students in Pacific University’s Speech-Language Pathology Masters Program. The training had the goal to create multiple different simulations for different techniques that are used by students. In order to create this baseline, I created 3D designs of a hospital room and equipment within to create an environment as realistic as possible to help students practice techniques in a lifelike scenario. For this project I worked with Dr. Amanda Stead to create 4 pieces of equipment and a room as a baseline for their training simulation.
